Activity 1: "Flower"
This pabalat activity requires a lot of patience, focus, and time. Cutting every curve of the flowers took a minute and creating one piece of it takes one and a half to two hours of cutting using small cuticle scissors. The body pains from the fingers, neck, and back are telling me that this kind of craft requires dedication, love, and passion, and I realize that those people who continuously revive this craft, that they are so passionate and dedicated in this craft that they are determined to continue to promote pabalat in the new generation.
It was a sad thing that this kind of craft is not commonly introduced to people, even me, it was my first time to see and hear about it. It was one of the many beautiful art crafts in the Philippines that slowly dying and it was a good thing that there are still people who are passionately dedicated to reviving and promoting this kind of craft. I hope a lot of people were able to know the beauty of pabalat.

Activity 2: "Belen"
In this activity, we are instructed by our professor to propose three different designs with a specific themed study. Because Christmas is just around the corner, I choose the theme "Paskong Pinoy". I created the three designs with the inspiration of the basic decorations that were often seen when the ber months started, it was titled "Parol", "Belen", and Christmas Tree.
Among the three, the approved design was the "Belen". From the name itself, it was inspired by the "Belen", the "Belen" or the nativity scene was a Christmas decoration that was often seen in the church. In some articles, it was described as the most important symbol of Christmas as it was depicting the scene on the birth of Jesus which is taken from the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. Which describes an angel announcing the birth of Jesus to shepherds who then visit the humble site where Jesus is found lying in a manger surrounded by Mary and Joseph and tells of wise men who follow a star to the house where Jesus dwelt
